De Original Jamaican Pattie Shop

Once you’ve tasted a Jamaican patty, you'll never go back. A bit of warning though, these snacks are highly addicting, so it's best to stock up when you run across a branch or stall.

These popular meat-filled pastries were brought here by Chinese-Jamaicans in 1990 by the prominent Chang/Yee families in Jamaica. 15 years later and several De Original Jamaican Pattie Shop stalls have sprouted across the metro. Cinema houses, groceries, and food courts, you name it. It has established itself as a classic snack favorite for many Filipinos.

I enjoy the flakiness of the crust with the mushy, spicy, meaty filling as my first meal of the day. Jamaica Pattie to get JB the fatty going. Nice.

Jamaican Patties are just as good eaten at the stall or reheated in a toaster oven at home. You won’t notice any drop-off in taste nor texture. Personally, I like having mine for breakfast. I enjoy the flakiness of the crust with the mushy, spicy, meaty filling as my first meal of the day. Jamaica Pattie to get JB the fatty going. Nice.

If you're looking for something new, and you are interested in meaty goodness in a crusty, flaky shell, and a taste for a bit of zing-- this one is for you. Just make sure you get the newly cooked, still hot ones-- those are the best!

Well... I love, love, love their Cheesy Beef patty! I always order it, in fact, I might not have tried any other option on their menu :D If you're looking for something new, and you are interested in meaty goodness in a crusty, flaky shell, and a taste for a bit of zing-- this one is for you. Just make sure you get the newly cooked, still hot ones-- those are the best!

There was a time I would eat one pie a day for a week. That’s how addicting the pinatubo beef pattie was.

I love how spicy the beef filling was specially when eaten with the crispy, flaky crust. There was a time I would eat one pie a day for a week. That’s how addicting the pinatubo beef pattie was.
