Hooch
If we were still living during the Prohibition, Hooch would be that casual go-to speakeasy with forbidden drinks in all flavors possible and gourmet comfort food.
Nestled in an unassuming spot along popular Salcedo Village, it's easy to understand how Hooch stays true to its name. An impressive bar menu that consists of hand-crafted artisanal cocktails and other libations. Best enjoyed with their European-inspired gourmet food (quick trivia: Chef Ian Padilla of La Girolle and Brasserie Girolle fame is also the mastermind behind this.
Be transported back to the 1920s as luxe leather, wooden, and antique interiors surround you amidst a dimly-lit, intimate setting. A perfect watering backdrop for a laid-back kind unwinding after work.

Next door, Hooch stays true to its moonshine name. A speakeasy with an old world feel, the atmosphere is an intoxicating blend of leather, antiques and wooden finishes in subdued hues.
And again, quality is still a reverberating concept within Lulu and Hooch’s glass walls. While Lulu presents gourmet food cooked in a contemporary style, Hooch offers gourmet comfort food inspired by European fare.

Service is attentive , friendly & knowledgable ...describe what u want & they'll take care of it.
Hooch is a steampunk inspired neighborhood watering hole created for both pub-goers and speakeasy-goers. It's always packed whenever I visit, patronized by the upscale crowd of Makati, & mostly foreigners..open till the wee hours even on weekdays. Service is attentive , friendly & knowledgable ...describe what u want & they'll take care of it.
