Chateau Hestia

Chateau Hestia infuses the old-world charm of Europe with Tagaytay's perennially relaxing locale to bring a brand new must-see for folks who frequent the windy ridge.

Feel right at home as you dine on authentic European specialties from the personal collection of the Austrian Zehethofer family, in the charmingly-decorated and homey atmosphere of their restaurant.

Planning to stay the night? We hear their cottages are enchanting - but we highly recommend you go there and see for yourself.

About Chateau Hestia

Enclosed in a half-hectare property in Silang, Cavite, Chateau Hestia Garden Restaurant and Deli is a feast for the senses. Food worshippers come from all over to taste the European delights that owner Johannes Zehethofer brought over from his homeland, Vienna, Austria.

What started as an overgrown forest and a pineapple field 10 years ago is now one of the top destinations in this quiet and picturesque town south of the metro. A hidden oasis, Chateau Hestia invites you to reconnect with nature and indulge your appetite.

Named after the Greek goddess of the hearth and the home, Chateau Hestia Garden Restaurant and Deli is a sanctuary for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Keeping the sacred fire of the hearth burning with every meal the restaurant prepares, Chateau Hestia is still as committed to providing fresh eats and exceptional service as it was a decade ago. Aside from its otherworldly food offerings, its lush property also adds to the magical experience that keeps diners coming back for more.

Rustic Ambiance: Feel transported to another time and place once you arrive at Chateau Hestia. Verdant bushes and lofty trees go on as far as the eyes can see. The pastoral walkways and the wooden interiors add to the bucolic charm of the restaurant.

Bed & Breakfast: Don’t just stay for a meal—stay for a day or two! Chateau Hestia has several casitas where you can unwind and relax while being surrounded by nature. If you think your sleep was wonderful, wait until you behold the gustatory delights the morning brings. From freshly baked breads and homemade passion fruit jams to kaiserschmarrn and brewed barako coffee, breakfast is simply divine at Chateau Hestia.

Deli Shop: The deli shop in the property is a dream destination for those with a discerning palate. Early in the morning, the seductive aroma of freshly baked bread wafts throughout the garden. Fill your larder with canned homemade jams, chutneys, sausages, cold cuts, and European cheese. During the weekends, don’t miss the Krapfen German doughnuts filled with different types of jams.

Redefining farm to table dining, this multi-cuisine garden restaurant uses only the freshest ingredients to create its gustatory masterpieces. Most of the key ingredients found in the dishes come from the very garden that surrounds Chateau Hestia.

Baked Spinach and Mushroom Cannelloni: Taking comfort food to a whole new level, each bite of Chateau Hestia’s baked spinach and mushroom cannelloni is pure bliss. The restaurant’s homemade pasta is rolled into creamed spinach, button mushrooms, and sauteed porcini, then drizzled with a healthy serving of tomato and bechamel sauce.

Reale Pizza: Even pizza is made fresh at Chateau Hestia. Revel in the hand-rolled thin crust pizza and discover the big difference homemade dough can make when it comes to flavor. Only the best ingredients from the deli—bresaola, pancetta, pepperoni, prosciutto, salame, speck, trancio, and ground sirloin—make the cut as premium toppings of this mouthwatering pizza.

Osso Buco Milanese: Slowly braised in thick tomato sauce, this traditional Italian dish is served with green beans and risotto Milanese. Pair this with an exquisite glass of red wine and you’ll be in food heaven.

Off the Grill Set: Take your pick from the wide array of cuts and sizes of steak from the restaurant’s deli and the resident cook will have it grilled exactly to your liking. You can also choose two of their several sidings, such as mashed potato, German potato salad, parsley marbled potatoes, sauteed garden vegetables, fresh side salad, and couscous salad.

Hand-Brewed Refreshments: Chateau Hestia is so committed to providing the finest products to its loyal diners that even its drinks are freshly made and hand-brewed. Sip on hand-brewed pandan iced tea or lemongrass iced tea and let its healthy properties work its magic on you.
