About Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort

Who It's For: Bluewater Maribago is part of the Bluewater Resorts group, a proudly and wholly-Filipino owned chain of resorts. Located on Mactan Island in Cebu, here you can experience the very best of what the Visayas and its people can offer: spectacular untouched scenery, warm hospitality, and an unforgettable holiday experience. This gorgeous resort is sure to be enjoyed by:

Families with kids: Bluewater Maribago’s Dolpo Kids Club makes sure that your kids have a fun and comfortable stay packed with fun-filled activities. Along with free use of the swimming pool, a membership gives them access to cooking classes and other educational activities.

Couples: Sometimes all you need is the perfect backdrop to make milestones extra special. Treat your loved one to a stay at Bluewater Maribago and enjoy the idyllic atmosphere, or go on adventures together playing watersports or exploring the rest of the island.

Companies: Corporate events are made that much better at Bluewater Maribago. Their facilities allow you to do some serious work during the day and then play hard once the sun goes down. Conferences, seminars and company meetings are all welcome.

AMENITIES:

Room Service: Indulge in delicious treats and carefully prepared meals right in the comfort of your room with Bluewater Maribago’s extensive room service menu. Great food is just a call away.

Fitness Center: Just because you’re on vacation doesn’t mean that you can’t get your daily workout in. Achieve your fitness goals at the property’s state-of-the-art fitness center, equipped with everything you’ll ever need to work up a sweat.

Dining: There’s no need to venture out of the resort for a fantastic dining experience. Bluewater Maribago offers five – count ‘em, five – full-service restaurants and bars that can cater to every craving, whether it’s Filipino food or Italian cuisine.

Beachfront: Get ready to catch your dose of Vitamin Sea. Bluewater Maribago is conveniently located right on the beach, meaning that the ocean breeze and saltwater is a very short walk away.

Spa: Bluewater Maribago’s Amuma Spa is named for the Visayan word for ‘indulge’ – and that’s exactly how you’ll feel after a relaxing massage therapy session. The tranquil space seamlessly fuses the beautiful resort surroundings with native architecture for a very one-with-nature feel.

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS:

SiDive: There are a number of places in Mactan Island that offer scuba diving lessons, but what sets SiDive apart is its PADI certification and its Open Water course. Lessons are conducted around various areas around the island, so it’s also a good way to explore.

KI Marine Sports Center: Offering diving lessons, day tours, island hopping, snorkeling and a number of other water activities, this is the place to be for thrill seekers. If you’re interested in local marine life and would like to encounter the famous whale sharks, head on over.

Magellan Shrine: The Shrine of Magellan is one of the most famous tourist attractions on the island. A memorial tower dedicated to the Portuguese explorer of the same name, it is believed to be where the Battle of Mactan took place and is also widely believed to be where Christianity first took hold in the country.
