About Bernardo's Hotel

Who It’s For: One of the newer hotels to open up on Batanes Island, Bernardo’s Hotel is just five minutes away from the town proper and the airport. Despite only having eight guest rooms, it’s situated in a prime location that gives it easy access to the beach while giving guests an amazing panoramic view of the mountains surrounding it. Families: Bernardo’s Hotel is the perfect place to spend some quality time with your family. If you want to keep things simple and just enjoy the peaceful confines that the hotel has to offer, then you can’t go wrong with booking a short stay here while exploring the wonders of the island. Small Intimate Gatherings: If you’re looking to enjoy a nice quiet vacation with your loved ones, then Bernardo’s Hotel is definitely for you. It has quite a peaceful atmosphere where you can relax, and, due to its limited occupancy, you won’t be bothered by other guests who are staying at the hotel. Friends:Groups who appreciate a relaxing vacation away from the bustling metropolis will enjoy their at Bernardo’s Hotel. Everything is very laidback and you don’t have to be in a rush to go anywhere. You can take your time with your friends to explore the island or just laze around on the beach. AMENITIES: Casa Napoli: Regarded as having the best pizza on the island, Casa Napoli serves freshly baked pizza in a brick oven. Many guests and visitors simply go here for the excellent pizza that the restaurant offers. There’s nothing like having a great slice of pizza while enjoying the seaside breeze. Tuktuk Services: If you want to take it easy during your stay on this island paradise, you can always hire the services of some of the tuktuk operators within Basco town. They can transport you to the location of your choice for a small fee. Tuktuk services are available from 2PM to 9PM daily. Package Tour Arrangements:If you plan on staying a while in Batanes, then why not have the hotel charter you on a private tour to any of the island’s many attractions. The hotel staff has partnered with several tour operators on the island, and they can easily give you a variety of tours to choose from during your stay. In-Room Massage: There’s no better way to end your day than with a relaxing massage. You can easily call in the services of the hotel’s in-house massage therapists and lie back as they knead all your stress and worries away. This service is available from 2PM to 11PM every day. NEARBY ATTRACTIONS: Chanarian Beach: One of the best things about Bernardo’s Hotel is its direct access to Chanarian Beach. Guests who don’t want to waste any time getting into the water will definitely love the fact that they go straight to the beach any time they feel like it. Santo Domingo Church:Also known as Basco Cathedral, this yellow colored church is dedicated to the patron saint Santo Domingo de Guzman and Our Lady of Immaculate Conception. Those of have a penchant for architecture will appreciate the construction of this church as well as the rich history behind it. Basco Lighthouse: This was one of the first of three lighthouses that were erected in Batanes. The six story building has a viewing deck on the fifth floor where visitors can take in the majestic view of the rolling hills and landscape. It’s definitely one of the best places to view either the sunrise or the sunset.
