Alabang may be more laid-back compared to other places in the metro, but a day spent here is definitely far from boring.

1. Wine and dine

Whether you’re looking for buffet or a la carte dining, coffee dates or wine tasting, you’ll never run out of options in Alabang. Just explore the restaurants, wine stores, and coffee shops at The Port Alabang Food Park, the Molito Commercial Complex, Alabang Town Center, Westgate Center, Northgate Cyberzone, Commercenter, Festival Supermall (the main mall and along River Park), newly-opened The Village Square Alabang, Madison Galleries, and other establishments along Alabang-Zapote Road (the spot nearest to Tierra Nueva Subdivision entrance), Madrigal Business Park and Filinvest City.

You may also take your pick among the superb fine dining restaurants housed in the luxury residences, condotels, and five-star hotels in the area. Highly recommended are Acacia Hotel's lunch and dinner buffet, Parque España’s breakfast buffet (its restaurant is right next to the pool area, so you can take a quick dip and work up an appetite before your morning meal) and Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila’s brunch, lunch, and dinner buffet (don’t leave without sampling their delicious desserts!).
