This Video Will Make You Crave a Cozy Beach Experience at Costa Pacifica in Baler

August 1, 2018

There is a case to be made for off-season beachgoers—the ones who pack their swimsuits and flip-flops despite the sweater weather, hungry for a taste of sun, sand, and sea away from the concrete jungle. Surfers are among the most persistent of this bunch, daydreaming about riding waves all day long and jumping at any chance to round up the crew and drive to where the ocean meets the sky.

It seems counterintuitive at first, but a beach that has had its break from the height of summer is most likely at its best form. Though more silver-lined clouds dot the sky and a chilly wind whips through your hair and skin, a peaceful beach gives you more time and space to swim with your thoughts, making your quick escape not just a breather for your body but for your mind and soul, too. And if surfing’s the top item on the agenda? A less crowded seaside situation undoubtedly makes for less distractions and a more productive time, letting you ride to your thrill-seeking heart’s content.

Although the North Swell doesn’t hit Sabang Beach until October, the Baler surfing experience is known to be relatively consistent year-round. Afterwards, once you’ve come down from your natural high, take advantage of the cozy weather by holing up in your laid-back yet luxurious suite, indulging in fresh gourmet fare, or watching the sunset tinge the horizon magenta, indigo, and tangerine from the L-shaped pool.
