These Are the Best Day Trips to Take from Bacolod City

by Anna Golez

As if Bacolod weren't delightful enough, the city's location gives you the best of both worlds, allowing you to venture out for a day to discover numerous beach and mountain destinations every nature lover will enjoy.

Driving to these spots is easy, with some of them only an hour (or less) away by car. Plus, it's surprisingly pleasant to get around Negros Island due to the regular bus trips and well-maintained highways. If you have a day to spare on your Bacolod trip, these destinations will make your stay even more memorable.

Discover the rich marine life by snorkeling, and lay out a picnic spread by the shore afterwards. Be sure to contact the local tourism office ahead of your trip so they can arrange transfers.
