As far as the food scene goes, Bonifacio Global City is usually your best bet for a taste of first-class culinary experiences in Metro Manila.
But the search for the finer food in life just might leave a big, gaping hole in your wallet. For the savvy eater to satisfy his or her BGC foodie cravings without breaking the bank, one must learn to pick the right spots.
We've rounded up five stops you absolutely need to make on your next BGC food trip—whether you're dreading petsa de peligro, saving up for a big trip, or simply getting a kick out of finding the best dining bargains.
1. Raging Bull Burgers
Want your beef with some attitude on the side? Raging Bull Burgers prides itself on serving up premium burgers at a price that doesn’t hurt after every bite. They’ve taken to the trend of grinding together different cuts of beef and have created their own ratio for the perfect juicy burger blend. Their aggressive flavors go perfectly with a pilsner and something off their Sweet Spot menu.
What to try for ₱500:
Their classic ⅓ pounder, the Kickass (₱225), with some thick cut fries (₱75) on the side provides the perfect burger and fries canvas to try out all their different in-house sauces. Washing it down with one of their milkshakes (₱190) would definitely give you the full experience.

What to try for ₱500:
Everyone has their own breakfast favorite, but Early Bird’s Ultimate Grilled Cheese (₱325) might be worth changing your order for. It even comes with a side of roasted tomato soup! An order of their Banana Foster Crepe (₱175) brings the perfect complementary sweetness to your savory meal.

3. Chicken and Beer
Chicken and Beer—the name is as simple as it gets. This Korean chicken restaurant caters both to the Filipino’s love for fried chicken and the currently rising obsession with Korean culture. They offer traditional Korean dishes to go along with a wide variety of chicken flavors such as soy garlic, honey, and golden tender. The spot is perfect for a warm and hearty meal over beer with friends along the Fort Strip.
What to try for ₱500:
Their Hot Spicy Chicken (₱295) packs a powerful punch in 6 pieces of chicken with a delicious red pepper grain finish on the breading. Mix and match with your friends while washing down all that deep-fried goodness with a bucket of beer (₱125 for 2 bottles), and enjoy a light buzz and an affordable feast that'll soon become a habit.

4. Fowlbread
Dubbing themselves “The Best Fried Chicken Sandwich in Manila” might be a tall claim to live up to, but Fowlbread gives everyone else a run for their money. Their fresh brioche buns and zesty condiments highlight their tasty deep-fried chicken recipe, and their other entrees accentuate Fowlbread’s Asian fusion vibe. Must-tries are their Szechuan style noodles, as well as the Honey Miso and Cantonese BBQ flavored wings.

If you’re going to pig out, you might as well go all out. Go with their Double Chicken Sandwich (₱385), which brings you 2x the sinfully delicious deep-fried chicken AND a double serving of chicken skin. Definitely not for the faint of heart! Add on some Citrus Iced Tea (₱110) for good measure.

5. Pink’s Hot Dogs
Pink’s has been serving Hollywood its hotdogs since 1939. They opened their first branch outside of the US two years ago, right at the heart (and stomach) of our beloved BGC. The spot has been serving their legendary hotdogs for over two years now, and is still going strong. With over a dozen original hotdog variants to choose from and a happy hour that lasts from 3 PM all the way to 10 PM, you can’t go wrong spending your money at Pink’s.
What to try for ₱500:
A personal favorite would be to pair the bacon-wrapped, pico de gallo and peppers- infused East L.A. Street Dog (₱250) with a Katipunan Indio Pale Ale (₱245) for a mashup of a Western classic and some local flavor.
