Escape from City Life at This Newly Revamped Eco-Glamping Spot
by Angie GarciaIt’s only recently that glamping—camping’s younger, more kikay cousin—has emerged as a way to unwind for nature enthusiasts and worn-out city slickers alike.
A portmanteau of the words glamorous and camping, glamping is a type of camping that appeals to those who want to experience the great outdoors minus the fuss. With glamping, you don’t have to worry about roughing it—no heavy backpack, no setting up of tents, no struggling to get a fire started. Everything is prepared for you.
That’s where Easy Adventure comes in. From the name itself, this newly revamped full-service campsite in Baler promises an easy adventure—a mix of outdoor adventure and all the modern comforts within reach.
Fun fact: Easy Adventure runs on eco-conscious sustainable efforts to minimize its carbon footprint!
Located in a quiet side of Baler, Easy Adventure is perfect for those who prefer privacy. While it’s a good 10 to 15-minute drive away from the popular Sabang Beach, their stylish Kombi van and Dune Buggy from the ’70s can be used for tours or pick up/drop off anywhere around Baler.
Easy Adventure is home to a bevy of natural wonders. The sprawling 3.2-hectare resort is located on the famous surf spot, Charlie’s Point, most famously known as the location where the popular Francis Ford Coppola-directed 1976 movie Apocalypse Now was filmed.
This is where mangroves and freshwater meet, as it is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the River Aguang. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim or try water adventures such as SUP boards and kayaking through the cool, glistening waters.
The Pacific Ocean, River, and the Sierra Madre make for a peaceful backdrop from their spacious view deck. Admire the great outdoors as you lie on the giant pillows and sofas. Read a good book, catch up with friends, or even drift off to your afternoon siesta.
Your humble abode comes in the form of brand new, weather-proof Kodiak and Safari tents to keep you safe and dry. Each tent is outfitted with its own dedicated picnic table, an Amok or cocoon, top-quality beddings, and a foot washer.
No need to dig a hole in the ground to do your business: Their clean, communal restrooms are complete with modern amenities such as showers, toilets, and bidets.

One of Easy Adventure’s newest highlights is the in-house farm-to-table restaurant that serves fresh food from its dedicated farm with 6 greenhouses. Curious about sustainable living? Guests are also open to take a tour with the resident farmer.
If your agenda is just to stay in, there are plenty of activities in Easy Adventure to keep you busy (and fit!), thanks to outdoor facilities such as the volleyball court, a balance centre, a mini-jogging course, and slack lines. There are several board games available if you prefer to sit down and bond with your companions instead.
Safety is of utmost priority at Easy Adventure. A 24-hour CCTV is installed for guests’ peace of mind.
Of course, you can’t leave Baler without riding a wave or two. If you’re itching to try surfing, Easy Adventure works with an ISA accredited surf school in Sabang Beach so you can easily arrange for surfing lessons, no matter what level you’re in.
For post-surf evenings, guests can partake of the bonfire activity and witness the dazzling light show performed by fireflies. It’s a quiet and beautiful alternative from the flashy, extravagant lights found in every corner of the metro.
Before you call it a night, don’t forget to stargaze into the beautiful night sky as Easy Adventure is home to a breathtaking view of billions of stars. After all, why stay at a 5-star hotel when you can stay in a 5-billion star campsite?
